HOUSTON, May 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orion Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ORN) (the "Company"), a leading specialty construction company, today announced a contract award of approximately $15 million.
The Company’s Marine segment was recently awarded a contract from the North Carolina State Ports Authority for the construction of the Turning Basin Expansion project in the Port of Wilmington, North Carolina. The Company’s scope on the project calls for installation of a new bulkhead wall and dredging activities to allow for larger vessels the ability to safely and more efficiently turn around in the Wilmington Harbor. The project is expected to begin in the third quarter with completion planned for early 2020.
